When you create your Dibdaa account, you’ll be asked to link your PayPal account. Once your accounts are linked, you’ll all set. Please note that all items of Dibdaa are listed in AED, but your PayPal account may be set to a different currency. Be sure to check to make sure you have no surprises.
Making an account is always free. Everyone is welcome. As a seller, you pay a small listing fee and a final commission fee depending on the item sold. Take a look at our fee schedule for more details.
When you create your account, you’ll link either your PayPal or PayTabs account. On a regular basis, we’ll send you an invoice with your last transactions – sales, fees and commissions. Five days later, the charged will automatically be deducted. No stress, no hassle.
On all listing, you can see if the seller accepts returns and under what conditions.
If there are any complications, or if the seller is violating the terms of your agreement, you can raise an official dispute to the Dibdaa team. If the buyer has acted according to the agreement, funds will be returned.
Zero. Dibdaa does not charge the buyer.
Some payment platforms may charge a processer fee. Unfortunately, those fees are out of our hands.
When you’ve placed an offer, you can reach out to the seller to arrange an inspection before finalising the sale.
If you feel like you were misled, raise a dispute in the resolution centre. The seller has the opportunity to make it right. If the seller doesn’t, Dibdaa will investigate on your behalf. If the buyer is in the right, all funds will be refunded and the seller will receive a black strike.
If users change their minds about a purchase, they can reach out and ask to mutually cancel the purchase. Otherwise, the buyer will receive a black strike on their account.
Once a sale is made, you can collect your item in person or use one of our preferred couriers to arrange collection/delivery.
We recommend two of the most affordable and reliable suppliers in the market. 1) Fetchr.us – They not only deliver/collect your item, but they can also collect the cash and bring it back to you. 2) PostIt – You can get an instant quote with our preferred rates.
Fixed Price - You state the price you want for the item and the duration of the listing. Make Offer Auction – Let buyers bid on your item.
When listing your item, select “sell by auction”. You then select a reserve price and the length of the auction (1 - 10 days) One the reserve price is met, buyers can continue to bid by increasing the offer by at least AED 1. When the auction ends, the highest bidder wins and the item is sold.
Sometimes this happens, even to the best of us. So we allow to you relist your item free of charge. Try changing the images or making the description more clear.
Use the “Feature My Item” option to highlight your item at the top of search results.
Yes – when you select “Feature My Item”, it is automatically relisted at the top of the category.
Yes. We understand you may need to end your listing. Just go to the item and select “end item” from the option menu. You’ll be asked why you would like to end your listing. We do this to let any potential buyers know if they’ve been watching the item
No – there is no additional fee to end your listing.
Generally, it is the buyer’s responsibility to collect or make arrangements to receive the item unless otherwise agreed with the seller.
You certainly can. But note that if the buyer decides to pick up his or her purchase, that fee will be subtracted from the listing price.
