Delivery & collection FAQ
Dibdaa currently woks with Aramex and PostaPlus as third-party del;ivery partners and currently integrates with Aramex and PostaPlus for eligible deliveries. The delivery option available for your transaction may depend on the item's size, weight, collection location and delivery destination.
Dibdaa provides access to delivery options through our third-party delivery partners, currently Aramex and PostaPlus. Where available, buyers and sellers can select an eligible delivery option as part of their transaction. Available delivery options and charges depend on factors including the item's size and weight and the collection and delivery locations. Delivery services are provided by the relevant third-party delivery partner and are subject to that provider's service availability, requirements and applicable terms and conditions.
Yes. Dibdaa's currently integrated delivery options are available for eligible items weighing up to 30 kg, subject to the applicable courier's size and service requirements. Items over 30 kg cannot currently be booked through Dibdaa's integrated delivery service. Buyers and sellers should agree a suitable collection or delivery arrangement separately where necessary.
The third-party delivery options currently available through Dibdaa do not support items weighing more than 30 kg or items that fall outside the applicable size requirements of our delivery partners. For larger or heavier items, such as some furniture and appliances, buyers and sellers will need to agree suitable collection or delivery arrangements separately. Always agree the arrangements before completing the handover of the item.
The seller chooses the delivery options available for their listing. Depending on the listing, the seller may offer free delivery, the buyer may pay for delivery using one of Dibdaa's third-party delivery partners, or the buyer may be able to collect the item from the seller. Where the buyer is responsible for delivery costs, the applicable delivery charge will be shown at checkout before payment is completed.
Delivery costs depend on the item, its size and weight, and the collection and delivery locations. If you are paying for delivery through Dibdaa, the applicable delivery charge will be shown at checkout based on the information provided for the listing. Additional charges may apply where the information provided, such as weight or dimensions, is inaccurate or where the delivery requirements change.
Yes. Where collection is available on the listing, the buyer can choose to collect the item directly from the seller at no delivery cost. Follow the collection instructions for the transaction and only confirm that you have received the item once it has actually been handed over and you have had the opportunity to check it.
Sellers must provide accurate weight and dimensions when listing an item for delivery. This information is used to determine delivery eligibility and calculate the applicable delivery charge. Sellers should carefully measure and weigh their item, including packaging where required.
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that the weight and dimensions provided are accurate. If incorrect information results in additional courier or delivery charges, the seller may be responsible for those additional costs. Any applicable additional charges may be recovered in accordance with Dibdaa's terms.
Report the issue through Dibdaa as soon as possible and within the applicable 48-hour inspection period. Keep the item and all packaging and take clear photographs of the item, packaging and any visible damage. Do not discard packaging or arrange a return until you have received the appropriate instructions. Where delivery was provided by one of Dibdaa's third-party delivery partners, any claim relating to damage during transportation may be subject to that provider's applicable terms and claims process. Dibdaa may assist by providing relevant transaction information where appropriate.
Check the available tracking information first. If the expected delivery has not arrived or tracking indicates there may be a problem, report the issue through Dibdaa as soon as possible. Where one of Dibdaa's third-party delivery partners has been used, available tracking and transaction information may be reviewed and the matter may be raised with the relevant delivery provider in accordance with its applicable process and terms. Never confirm that an item has been received until you have actually received it.
The seller is responsible for preparing and packaging the item appropriately for collection and delivery. Packaging should be suitable for the item's size, weight and nature and should provide reasonable protection during transport. Where applicable, sellers should follow any packaging requirements provided by the delivery provider. Inadequate packaging may affect how a claim for damage during delivery is assessed.
Delivery details should be checked carefully before completing your purchase. Once a delivery has been booked or collection has started, it may not be possible to change the delivery address. If you notice an error, contact Dibdaa as soon as possible. Additional charges may apply where a delivery provider permits a change.
If a delivery cannot be completed because nobody is available to receive the item, the delivery provider's applicable process will apply. This may include another delivery attempt, collection from a designated location or return of the item to the seller. Additional delivery or return charges may apply, so buyers should ensure that someone is available to receive the item where required.
