Seller FAQ
The amount you receive may differ from the original sale price where an applicable fee, delivery charge, refund, adjustment or other agreed transaction cost applies. Your transaction details should show any deductions or adjustments. If the amount does not match what you expected, contact Dibdaa through the Resolution Center so we can review the transaction.
If a buyer does not complete payment or fails to proceed with an agreed transaction within the required time, the transaction may be cancelled and the item made available for sale again. Dibdaa promotes responsible buying and selling, and where a buyer repeatedly fails to meet their obligations, an account strike or other appropriate action may be applied.
Depending on the options available for your item, you can sell using a Fixed Price, allow buyers to Make an Offer, or sell through an Auction. The available selling options will be shown when you create your listing.
No. Dibdaa does not currently charge a fee to end an eligible listing early. However, a listing may not be able to be ended once a transaction has been completed or where you have an outstanding obligation to a buyer

When your item sells, the buyer's payment is securely held while the transaction is completed. Once the buyer receives the item, they can confirm through Dibdaa that it has been received in good order, allowing the funds to be released to you. If the buyer does not confirm earlier, the funds will be released after the 48-hour inspection period, provided no issue has been raised. If an issue is reported, the funds will remain on hold while the matter is reviewed through the Dibdaa Resolution Center.
The 48-hour inspection period helps protect both buyers and sellers by giving the buyer time to check that the item received matches the listing and is in the expected condition. The buyer can confirm that everything is in good order before the 48 hours have passed, allowing the funds to be released earlier. If an issue is raised during the inspection period, the funds will remain on hold while the matter is reviewed through the Dibdaa Resolution Center.
Dibdaa is currently free to use, with no Dibdaa listing or selling fees. As we grow our community and marketplace, we may introduce fees for certain services in the future. Any applicable fees will always be clearly shown before you choose to use a paid service.
Depending on the listing type available, you can sell your item at a fixed price, allow buyers to make an offer, or sell through an auction. Choose the option that works best for your item when creating your listing.
Some items are not permitted on Dibdaa for legal, safety or community reasons. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their items can legally be sold in the UAE and comply with Dibdaa's listing rules. Please check our Prohibited and Restricted Items policy before listing.
If you allow offers on your listing, a buyer can submit an offer for you to consider. Depending on the offer and your listing settings, you can accept, decline or respond to the offer. If an offer is accepted, the buyer will be asked to complete payment within the time shown. If payment is not completed within the required time, the transaction may be cancelled and the item made available for sale again. Repeated failure by a buyer to complete agreed transactions may result in an account strike or further action.
Selling on Dibdaa is simple. Create or log in to your account, select Sell, and follow the steps to create your listing. Add clear, recent photos, an accurate description, the item's condition and any other relevant details, then choose how you would like to sell it. Buyers have up to 48 hours after receiving an item to inspect it and raise an issue if they believe it is materially different from the listing or there is another eligible problem with the transaction. If an issue is raised, the funds will remain on hold while the matter is reviewed. The seller may be asked to provide information, photographs or other evidence to help resolve the issue. If no issue is raised during the inspection period, the funds can be released to the seller. Accurate descriptions and clear photographs, including any defects or damage, help protect both buyers and sellers.
Not sure how much your item is worth? You can let the market help determine the price using Dibdaa's auction feature. When creating your listing, choose the auction option, set your auction details and starting price, and buyers can place competing bids during the auction period. When the auction ends, the successful bidder will be asked to complete payment within the time shown. Once payment is completed, the normal Dibdaa payment, delivery or collection and buyer inspection process applies. Make sure your description, photographs and item condition are accurate before starting your auction, as restrictions may apply to changing or cancelling an auction once bidding has started. If the successful bidder does not complete the purchase within the required time, the transaction may be cancelled and appropriate account action may be taken.
When creating your listing, you can select the delivery or collection options available for your item. You may offer free delivery, allow the buyer to collect the item, or offer delivery at the buyer's cost using available Dibdaa delivery options. If you use a Dibdaa-integrated delivery service, make sure the item's weight and dimensions are accurate, as incorrect information may result in additional delivery charges for which you may be responsible. Available options and charges will be shown as part of the transaction. For more information, please see Delivery & Collection.
If a buyer reports an issue during the applicable inspection period, the payment will remain on hold while the matter is reviewed. Both the buyer and seller may be asked to provide relevant information, such as photographs, messages or details of the listing and transaction. Dibdaa will review the information provided in accordance with the applicable terms and policies and work with both parties towards an appropriate resolution.
