Returns FAQ
If your item arrives damaged, report the issue through Dibdaa as soon as possible and within the 48-hour inspection period. Keep the item and any packaging and take clear photographs of the item, packaging and damage, as these may be needed to review what happened. Do not arrange a return until you have received instructions on the next steps.
If the item you receive is materially different from the description or condition shown in the listing, raise an issue through Dibdaa within the 48-hour inspection period. Please provide clear details and, where appropriate, photographs or other evidence showing the problem. The seller's funds will remain on hold while the matter is reviewed.
Returns on Dibdaa depend on the reason for the return and the return conditions shown on the original listing. When you receive an item, you have up to 48 hours to inspect it and report an eligible issue if it is materially different from the listing, damaged or there is another problem with the transaction. During this inspection period, the seller's funds remain on hold. Change-of-mind returns are subject to the seller's stated return policy and any applicable conditions.
A change-of-mind return depends on the return conditions shown on the listing and agreed for the transaction. Sellers may choose whether to accept certain returns where there is no problem with the item. Before purchasing, check the listing and any applicable return conditions carefully.
Once a refund has been approved, it will be processed through the applicable payment method or payment provider. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment method, bank or payment provider. You will be notified when the refund has been processed.
he seller sets the return conditions when creating the listing. Before purchasing, check the return policy shown on the item to see whether returns are accepted, the applicable return period and who is responsible for return delivery costs. Where an issue or dispute is raised, different arrangements may apply depending on the circumstances and the applicable Dibdaa terms and policies.
If you raise an eligible issue during the 48-hour inspection period, the payment relating to the transaction will remain on hold while the matter is reviewed. Funds will not normally be released to the seller until the issue has been resolved in accordance with Dibdaa's applicable terms and policies.
If no eligible issue is raised during the 48-hour inspection period, the transaction may be treated as accepted and the funds released to the seller. This does not necessarily affect any separate return rights available under the seller's stated return policy or any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. We therefore recommend inspecting your item as soon as you receive it and reporting any eligible issue promptly.
Dibdaa's 48-hour inspection period and the seller's return policy are separate. During the first 48 hours after receiving your item, your payment is held while you inspect the item. If everything is in good order, you can accept the item and the funds can be released to the seller earlier. If no issue is raised during the 48-hour period, the funds will be released to the seller. If the seller offers a longer return period, their return policy will continue to apply even after the funds have been released. For example, if the seller offers 7-day returns, you may still request an eligible return within that 7-day period, subject to the conditions shown on the original listing. Always check the seller's return policy before purchasing.
If you and the seller cannot agree about an eligible return, you can raise an issue through the Dibdaa Resolution Center. Dibdaa may review the original listing, the seller's return conditions, communications and any supporting information provided by both parties. Where appropriate, Dibdaa will determine the next steps in accordance with the applicable terms and policies. This may include instructions for returning the item, a refund or other appropriate resolution. Any applicable return delivery costs, charges or fees will depend on the circumstances and the applicable Dibdaa terms.
Where a return is required, you may need to return the item before a refund can be completed. Follow the return instructions provided for the transaction and keep any proof of collection, postage or delivery. Do not send an item back independently while an issue is under review unless you have been instructed to do so.
