Different categories of information may therefore be retained for different periods.
Where information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete or anonymise it, subject to applicable legal requirements.
11. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING
Some of Dibdaa's service providers or technology infrastructure may process or store information outside the United Arab Emirates.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, Dibdaa will take steps appropriate under applicable law in relation to the transfer and protection of that information.

Requests may be submitted using the contact information below.
The UAE's federal personal-data framework provides data-subject rights and regulates processing of personal data.
13. CHILDREN AND MINORS
Dibdaa is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create Dibdaa accounts or knowingly collect personal information from them for the purpose of providing marketplace services.
If we become aware that an account has been created or personal information has been submitted contrary to this requirement, we may take appropriate action, including restricting or closing the account and deleting information where appropriate and legally permitted.
14. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES
Dibdaa may contain links to websites, applications or services operated by third parties.
Dibdaa does not control the privacy practices of those third parties. Their collection and processing of personal information is governed by their respective privacy notices and terms.
Users should review those policies before providing personal information to a third party.
15. ACCOUNT CLOSURE
You may request closure of your Dibdaa account in accordance with the functionality made available through the Platform or by contacting us.
Closing an account does not necessarily result in the immediate deletion of all information associated with the account.

DIBDAA USER AGREEMENT
Last Updated: September 2026
Welcome to Dibdaa.
These User Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dibdaa website, mobile applications, marketplace, Dibdaa Stores, Dibdaa Premium and related services (collectively, the "Dibdaa Platform" or "Services").
The Dibdaa Platform is operated by Dibdaa LLC, a company incorporated in the Sharjah Media City Free Zone (SHAMS), Sharjah, United Arab Emirates ("Dibdaa", "we", "us" or "our").
By creating an account, accessing or using the Dibdaa Platform, listing an item, making an offer, placing a bid, purchasing an item, operating a Dibdaa Store or otherwise using our Services, you agree to these Terms and any applicable Dibdaa policies referred to in them.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Dibdaa Platform.
1. ABOUT DIBDAA
Dibdaa provides an online marketplace and technology platform that enables users to discover, list, buy and sell items.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Dibdaa is not the seller, owner, manufacturer or supplier of items listed by users and does not take ownership or title to those items.
The contract for the purchase and sale of an item is between the buyer and the seller.
Dibdaa may provide or facilitate services that support marketplace transactions, including payment functionality, wallet functionality, temporary holding and release of funds, delivery options, buyer inspection periods, listing reviews, user reporting and dispute-resolution tools.
Providing or facilitating these services does not make Dibdaa the seller of a user's item and does not constitute a guarantee of any user, item, transaction or third-party service.
Dibdaa is designed to help users transact more conveniently and responsibly, but users remain responsible for exercising appropriate care when buying and selling.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You may use Dibdaa only if you are legally capable of entering into the relevant transactions under applicable law.
You must provide accurate, complete and current information when creating and maintaining your account.
You must not:
- create an account using false or misleading information;
- impersonate another person or business;
- use another person's account without permission;
- create accounts to circumvent restrictions or suspension; or
- use Dibdaa for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
Dibdaa may introduce additional identity, account or business verification measures from time to time where appropriate.
Verification measures are intended to support marketplace trust and responsible participation. They do not constitute a guarantee by Dibdaa regarding a user's identity, reliability, conduct or the successful completion of a transaction.
3. YOUR ACCOUNT
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Dibdaa account and login credentials.
You must not disclose your password or other security credentials to another person.
You should notify Dibdaa promptly if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorisation.
You must ensure that your contact, payment, delivery and other account information remains accurate and current.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Dibdaa may restrict, suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that it has been compromised, misused or operated in breach of these Terms or another applicable Dibdaa policy.
4. MARKETPLACE SAFETY
Dibdaa aims to create a responsible community where people can buy, sell, reuse and share with greater confidence.
We may use measures intended to support trust and responsible participation in the marketplace, including:
- account and identity verification measures;
- listing reviews;
- transaction records;
- payment controls;
- buyer inspection periods;
- user reporting;
- the Dibdaa Resolution Center;
- account strikes;
- account restrictions; and
- account suspension or removal.
These measures are intended to help reduce risk and encourage responsible behaviour.
They do not constitute a guarantee by Dibdaa regarding the identity, reliability or conduct of a user, the accuracy of a listing, the quality, authenticity, safety or condition of an item, or the successful completion of a transaction.
Users remain responsible for exercising reasonable care when buying and selling.
5. SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Sellers are responsible for the items they list and sell through Dibdaa.
When listing an item, sellers must provide accurate and non-misleading information, including where relevant:
- an accurate description;
- clear and recent photographs;
- the item's condition;
- relevant defects, damage or wear;
- size, dimensions and weight where required;
- price or auction information;
- delivery or collection information; and
- applicable return conditions.
Sellers must have the legal right to sell the items they list.
Sellers must not list prohibited, restricted, counterfeit, stolen, unsafe or illegal items.
Sellers are responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations relating to their items and selling activities.
Dibdaa may review, restrict, reject, remove or request changes to a listing where we reasonably believe that it breaches these Terms, Dibdaa's marketplace policies or applicable law.
6. BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES
Buyers are responsible for reviewing the information available about an item before completing a transaction.
This includes, where applicable:
- the description;
- photographs;
- condition;
- price;
- seller information;
- delivery or collection arrangements; and
- return conditions.
Where additional information is required, buyers should contact the seller through Dibdaa before purchasing.
Buyers must complete payments and other transaction requirements within any period displayed by Dibdaa.
Buyers must not misuse Dibdaa's payment, inspection, return, reporting or Resolution Center processes.
7. WAYS TO BUY AND SELL
Depending on the listing and available functionality, Dibdaa may provide different ways to buy and sell, including:
Buy Now
A buyer can purchase an eligible item at the seller's stated price.
Make Offer
A buyer can submit an offer for an eligible item.
Auction
Buyers can place competing bids for an eligible item during the applicable auction period.
The transaction methods available for an item will be displayed on the relevant listing.
8. MAKE OFFER
Where a seller enables Make Offer, buyers may submit offers for the seller's consideration.
Sellers may be able to establish parameters for offers, including the lowest amount they are prepared to consider.
Where available, Dibdaa's technology may automatically process offers according to settings selected by the seller.
This may include automatically accepting or rejecting offers that meet specified conditions.
This functionality is designed to reduce unnecessary negotiation and messaging while allowing sellers to remain in control of the prices they are willing to consider.
If an offer is accepted, the buyer must complete payment within the time displayed by Dibdaa.
If payment is not completed within the required period, the transaction may be cancelled and the item may become available for sale again.
Repeated or serious failure to honour accepted transactions may result in account action.
9. AUCTIONS
Sellers may choose to offer eligible items through Dibdaa's auction functionality.
Sellers may establish permitted auction settings, including a starting price and auction duration.
Where available, additional auction settings may also apply.
Buyers participating in an auction should only place bids they are prepared to honour.
When an auction closes, the successful bidder may be required to complete payment within the period specified by Dibdaa.
Restrictions may apply to changing or cancelling an auction once bidding has started.
Dibdaa may cancel, reverse or invalidate a bid or auction result where we reasonably believe that fraud, manipulation, technical error or a breach of these Terms has occurred.
10. PAYMENTS AND WALLET
Payment options available for a transaction will be displayed during checkout.
Depending on the transaction and available functionality, payments may be facilitated through Dibdaa's payment and wallet infrastructure and third-party payment service providers.
Where the Dibdaa transaction process provides for funds to be held temporarily, the seller will not receive those funds immediately.
Funds may remain on hold while the transaction is completed and during the applicable buyer inspection period.
Payment processing and related financial services may be provided by independent third parties and may be subject to their own terms, processing requirements and service availability.
Users must provide accurate payment information and must only use payment methods that they are authorised to use.
11. 48-HOUR INSPECTION PERIOD
Unless otherwise stated for a particular transaction, buyers have up to 48 hours after receiving an item to inspect it and determine whether it materially corresponds with the listing and is in the expected condition.
During this period, applicable seller funds may remain on hold.
Where the functionality is available, a buyer may confirm before the 48-hour period expires that the item has been received in good order. Applicable funds may then be released to the seller earlier.
If no eligible issue is raised during the inspection period, the transaction may be treated as accepted and applicable funds may be released to the seller.
Buyers should therefore inspect items promptly after receiving them.
The 48-hour inspection process does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. REPORTING A PROBLEM WITH AN ITEM
If an item is materially different from its listing, arrives damaged or has another eligible issue, the buyer should report the problem through Dibdaa within the applicable inspection period.
The buyer may be required to provide supporting information, including:
- photographs;
- original packaging;
- messages;
- delivery information;
- tracking information; and
- other information relevant to the transaction.
Where an eligible issue is reported, applicable funds may remain on hold while the matter is reviewed.
Users should not independently return an item while an issue is under review unless instructed or agreed to do so.
13. RETURNS
Sellers may establish return conditions for their listings, subject to applicable law and Dibdaa's marketplace requirements.
Buyers should review the return conditions displayed on a listing before purchasing.
A seller's stated return period may extend beyond Dibdaa's 48-hour inspection period.
The 48-hour inspection period and a seller's separate return policy are different processes.
A seller's return policy does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
Whether a buyer can return an item because they have changed their mind depends on the seller's stated return conditions, the nature of the transaction and applicable law.
Buyers should review the applicable return conditions before purchasing.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict any statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be restricted.
15. REFUNDS
Where a refund is approved, it may be processed or facilitated through the applicable payment method or payment provider.
The time required for refunded funds to appear in the buyer's account may depend on the payment method, bank or payment provider.
Dibdaa does not control processing times imposed by independent financial institutions or payment providers.
Users may be required to follow applicable return instructions before a refund is processed.
16. DIBDAA RESOLUTION CENTER
Where a buyer and seller cannot resolve an eligible transaction issue directly, the matter may be submitted to the Dibdaa Resolution Center.
Dibdaa may consider information relevant to the transaction, including:
- the original listing;
- photographs;
- messages;
- payment information;
- delivery information; and
- other supporting information supplied by the parties.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable policies, Dibdaa may facilitate appropriate next steps, which may include a return, refund, release or continued hold of applicable funds, or account action.
The Resolution Center is designed to help buyers and sellers resolve marketplace issues.
It does not guarantee that either party will receive a particular outcome and does not replace any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
17. DELIVERY
Dibdaa may provide users with access to delivery options supplied by independent third-party delivery providers.
Our current third-party delivery partners include Aramex and PostaPlus.
Available services depend on factors such as:
- item type;
- size;
- weight;
- collection location;
- delivery destination; and
- provider availability.
Applicable delivery options and charges will be displayed or agreed as part of the transaction where available.
18. THIRD-PARTY DELIVERY PROVIDERS
Courier and delivery services are performed by independent third-party delivery providers and not by Dibdaa.
Where Dibdaa enables users to access or book a third-party delivery service through the Platform, Dibdaa facilitates access to that service but does not itself transport, handle or deliver the item.
Third-party delivery services are subject to the relevant provider's service availability, requirements, restrictions, terms and claims procedures.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dibdaa is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, delays or service failures of third-party delivery providers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. PACKAGING
Sellers are responsible for preparing and packaging items appropriately for delivery.
Packaging should be suitable for the item's size, weight, nature and fragility and should comply with applicable requirements of the selected delivery provider.
Inadequate or inappropriate packaging may affect any claim relating to loss or damage during transportation.
20. WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS
Sellers must provide accurate item weight and dimensions where required for delivery.
Incorrect information may result in additional delivery charges, delays or inability to complete the delivery.
Where additional charges arise because incorrect information was provided by the seller, the seller may be responsible for those charges.
21. COLLECTION
Where collection is offered, buyers and sellers may arrange for the item to be collected directly.
Users should follow applicable collection instructions and exercise reasonable care when arranging or completing a collection.
A buyer should not confirm receipt until the item has actually been received.
Where appropriate, buyers should inspect an item at collection before confirming receipt.
22. LOST, DELAYED OR DAMAGED DELIVERIES
If an item is delayed, appears to be lost or arrives damaged, users should report the issue promptly.
Users may be required to retain packaging and provide photographs, tracking information or other supporting evidence.
Where a third-party delivery provider has been used, any transportation-related claim may be subject to that provider's applicable terms and claims procedures.
Dibdaa may assist by providing or reviewing relevant transaction information where appropriate but does not itself operate the courier service.
23. DIBDAA FEES
Dibdaa is currently free to use for ordinary marketplace buying and selling unless a fee is clearly displayed for a particular service.
Dibdaa may introduce listing fees, selling fees, commissions, promotional charges or other paid services in the future.
Any applicable Dibdaa fee will be communicated before a user chooses to use the relevant paid service.
Third-party charges, including applicable delivery and payment-provider charges, are separate unless expressly stated otherwise.
24. DIBDAA PREMIUM — COMING SOON
Dibdaa Premium is a planned storefront service that will allow eligible users to create a dedicated storefront within the Dibdaa marketplace.
Dibdaa Premium is coming soon and is not yet generally available.
Information about planned Premium functionality is provided for information only until the service becomes available.
Dibdaa may change Premium features, plans, pricing or functionality before launch.
25. DIBDAA STORES — COMING SOON
When available, Dibdaa Stores may allow sellers to create a dedicated online storefront while remaining part of the wider Dibdaa marketplace.
Store functionality may include:
- a dedicated Dibdaa Store web address;
- store name and branding;
- store logo;
- product catalogue;
- product categories;
- About information;
- Contact information; and
- access to applicable Dibdaa selling functionality.
Eligible Store products may also appear within the main Dibdaa marketplace.
Buyers may be able to access a seller's dedicated Store directly from marketplace listings.
26. FREE AND PAID STORES — COMING SOON
When Dibdaa Premium launches, Dibdaa currently intends to provide a free Store option supporting up to 5 active items.
Paid Premium plans may provide higher active-listing limits.
Paid plans are intended to be offered on a monthly subscription basis, with applicable pricing displayed before subscription.
Store plans, prices, functionality and listing limits may change from time to time.
27. PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTIONS — COMING SOON
When paid Premium subscriptions become available, subscription payments are expected to be processed through Stripe or another payment provider identified at checkout.
Paid subscriptions will automatically renew monthly until cancelled.
Users may cancel their subscription through the cancellation process made available by Dibdaa.
Cancellation will normally take effect at the end of the current paid subscription period unless otherwise stated.
Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, subscription fees already paid for a current subscription period are not refundable solely because the user cancels before the end of that period.
28. PREMIUM FEES AND COMMISSION — COMING SOON
Under Dibdaa's current planned model, an eligible paid Premium subscription will cover ordinary Dibdaa listing and selling charges included with that plan.
Dibdaa does not currently intend to charge an additional Dibdaa sales commission on ordinary transactions made through an eligible active paid Premium Store.
This does not include independent third-party charges, such as applicable delivery or payment-provider charges.
Any applicable charges will be disclosed in connection with the relevant service.
29. STORE OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES — COMING SOON
Dibdaa provides Store owners with marketplace and storefront technology.
The Store owner remains responsible for:
- products offered through the Store;
- product availability;
- listing descriptions;
- photographs;
- pricing;
- product condition;
- fulfilment;
- applicable delivery arrangements;
- return conditions;
- customer obligations;
- compliance with applicable law; and
- compliance with Dibdaa policies.
A Dibdaa Store is operated by the relevant seller.
Dibdaa does not own the seller's products or operate the seller's business.
30. PREMIUM DOES NOT MEAN ENDORSEMENT — COMING SOON
Dibdaa Premium provides additional marketplace and storefront functionality.
Premium status does not mean that Dibdaa guarantees, certifies or endorses a Store owner, seller, product or transaction.
Buyers remain responsible for reviewing listings and exercising reasonable care when purchasing.
31. PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ITEMS
Users must comply with Dibdaa's Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy.
Items that are illegal, unsafe, counterfeit, stolen or otherwise prohibited by Dibdaa must not be listed.
Certain items may be restricted or subject to additional requirements.
Dibdaa may remove or restrict listings and take account action where prohibited or restricted items are listed.
Users remain responsible for ensuring that their activities comply with applicable law.
32. USER CONDUCT
Users must treat other members of the Dibdaa community responsibly.
You must not:
- engage in fraud or attempted fraud;
- deliberately provide misleading information;
- manipulate transactions, offers or auctions;
- harass, threaten or abuse other users;
- misuse another person's information;
- interfere with Dibdaa's systems or security;
- attempt to circumvent account restrictions;
- use Dibdaa for unlawful activities;
- artificially manipulate ratings, listings, prices or marketplace activity; or
- repeatedly enter into transactions that you do not intend to complete.
33. ACCOUNT STRIKES AND ENFORCEMENT
Dibdaa may use warnings, account strikes, restrictions, temporary suspensions or permanent account removal where users breach marketplace rules.
The action taken may depend on factors including the nature, seriousness and frequency of the conduct.
Repeated breaches may result in progressively stronger account measures.
Serious conduct may result in immediate restriction or suspension without prior strikes where appropriate.
Dibdaa may also take steps reasonably necessary to protect users, the Platform or comply with legal obligations.
34. USER CONTENT
Dibdaa allows users to upload and publish information including listings, photographs, descriptions, messages, Store information and other content ("User Content").

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit Dibdaa intellectual property without permission except where permitted by law.
37. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COMPLAINTS

The Privacy Policy explains how Dibdaa collects, uses, stores, shares and otherwise processes personal information.
Where independent third-party providers process information as part of a service, their applicable privacy terms may also apply.

- Dibdaa's systems or Platform are being abused;
- required by law or a competent authority; or
- necessary to protect Dibdaa or its users.
Where appropriate, Dibdaa may provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue.
Some obligations may continue after account termination, including obligations relating to completed or outstanding transactions, payments, returns or disputes.
41. AVAILABILITY OF THE PLATFORM
Dibdaa aims to provide a reliable Service but does not guarantee that the Platform will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available.
The Platform may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party service interruptions or circumstances outside Dibdaa's reasonable control.
Dibdaa may modify, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.
42. MARKETPLACE DISCLAIMER

Except where expressly stated otherwise, Dibdaa does not manufacture, own, inspect, possess or sell items listed by users.
Dibdaa does not guarantee:
- the identity or conduct of a user;
- the accuracy of every listing;
- the quality, safety, legality or authenticity of every item;

- that a seller will complete a transaction;
- that a transaction will be problem-free; or
- a particular outcome from the Resolution Center.
Dibdaa's safety, payment, inspection and dispute processes are designed to help support a safer and more responsible marketplace, not to eliminate all transaction risk.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dibdaa is not responsible for loss resulting solely from:
- the conduct of another user;
- inaccurate information supplied by another user;
- an independent third-party service provider;
- circumstances outside Dibdaa's reasonable control; or
- a user's failure to comply with these Terms or reasonable marketplace precautions.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

- your breach of these Terms; or
- your violation of applicable law.
Where permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Dibdaa LLC against third-party claims arising directly from such conduct.
This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify Dibdaa for Dibdaa's own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot lawfully be transferred.
45. NO PARTNERSHIP OR AGENCY
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, franchise or agency relationship between Dibdaa and a user.
Sellers operate independently and are not representatives or agents of Dibdaa.
A seller has no authority to make commitments or representations on behalf of Dibdaa.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdiction requirements under applicable law, disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Dibdaa Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
Nothing in this section restricts a consumer from exercising any mandatory right to bring a complaint or claim before a competent authority or court where applicable law provides otherwise.
SHAMS itself uses UAE federal law and the courts of Sharjah in its supplier terms, while its 2024 regulations govern companies incorporated within the free zone.
